Invoice Management – General
- Automatic branch recognition via KVK (NL) and KBO (BE)
Blue10 uses automatic branch recognition to recognise documents in the general mailbox. That is why you can now link officially registered branches from company management, based on a KVK number or enterprise number. This option is available for Dutch and Belgian companies.
Based on the KVK or KBO number on the invoice, Blue10 automatically recognises which administration the invoice belongs to, even when several invoices from different companies come in through one general mailbox. In company management you see at a glance whether a branch is linked.
Branch recognition only includes linked branches. If a branch on the invoice cannot be recognised, Blue10 passes the invoice on without a company. Contact Support if you want to use this. - Move an email address between the general mailbox and a company
Do you want to start working with the general mailbox, but is the email address already linked to another mailbox? You can now move this email address from a specific company to the general mailbox. Moving an email address between specific companies is not possible. - Clearer display of tables
FastInsights users now see a clearer display of the tables. You can also collapse and expand the window. - Amount type in posting templates now defaults to Percentage
When you create a new posting template, Amount type is now set to Percentage instead of Fixed amount.

Invoice Management – General
- Improved message for postings that do not balance
We now also show a clear message when one of the header fields does not balance, or no longer balances. That way we flag discrepancies in more situations, unambiguously and at a glance. We have also simplified the message for coding that does not balance. Before, we showed the specific amounts that did not match for each situation. From now on we use one consistent design for the message, whatever it is that does not balance.
Invoice Management – Twinfield
- Twinfield deferred costs
For Twinfield administrations you can now spread costs in the coding line instead of in the header. In company management, under coding information, you’ll find the new setting Code on deferred costs. With this setting on, you must always enter an accrual ledger account. Switching on this setting also turns off spreading the invoice in the header, under Extra settings. Spreading costs in the header will be phased out.

Invoice Management – General
- Clearer display of drop-down menus
The drop-down menus in the validation screen now show header information, so you can see which values a field contains. - Searching in Blue10 now works the same everywhere
Anyone using a search bar in Blue10 may have noticed the odd small difference between them. We have brought these into line across the whole of Blue10. The search bar itself also behaves the same everywhere: start typing a search term and the result appears on screen straight away. - General mailbox
One way to import documents into Blue10 is through mailboxes with their own email address. A supplier emails an invoice to that address and the mailbox delivers it straight to the right place in Blue10. The general mailbox is one of the options. It recognises incoming documents and forwards them automatically to the right place in Blue10, whatever the company they belong to. You’ll now find the general mailbox setting in a separate block at the bottom of the page, collapsed by default. That way you keep a clear overview if you manage several mailboxes.
Invoice Management – AFAS
- GetConnector V7 is now available.
GetConnector 7 includes the following improvements:
– The validation screen now makes it clearer whether a period is open or closed. The period can also no longer be changed here;
– The supplier synchronisation now checks the ‘isCrediteur’ setting to determine whether or not suppliers are shown;
– The purchase order window is now visible in the validation screen, and a Purchase order tab has been added to the document detail page, showing an overview of linked purchase orders along with receipt and line numbers.

- Dashboard for controllers & approvers
Controllers and approvers now have their own dashboard too. This gives you a clear overview of the actions you need to take. Would you like to know more about the dashboard for controllers and approvers? Read more here - Comparing debit and credit invoices
The Debit or Credit tab (depending on the document type) is now available on the document detail page, so you can directly compare whether invoices actually belong together.
Invoice Management – Uniconta

Invoice Management – General
- Moving the setting for purchase orders
Activating the use of purchase orders is now located in the company settings under Basic information. Here you will find the setting ‘Use purchase order module’, which can be set to Yes or No. - Peppol – Self-billing
Self-billing is already live, but following product feedback a functional change has been made to this feature. Self-billing invoices will now be imported into the Blue10 environment as sales invoices. If you are not yet using the sales invoices module, you can activate it in the company management section under basic information.
Invoice Management – Exact Globe
- PDF files from Peppol now also forwarded to Exact Globe
Users of Exact Globe will now receive the accompanying PDF of a Peppol invoice in addition to the XML. Previously, only the XML was sent and Exact Globe generated its own visualisation, meaning the PDF was only available as an attachment in Blue10. The PDF is now also visible in Exact Globe.
Invoice Management – Blue10 App
- Visualisation of attachments in combination with Peppol invoices
PDFs attached to Peppol invoices are now added to the attachments section. The attachment will also be displayed there immediately.

Improved
Invoice Management – Exact Online and Business Central
- Visualisation of order lines for unposted invoices
For unposted invoices, users can see which order lines have been used on the invoice. This is shown on the Document Details page: Purchasing, under the Purchase Orders tab. If you use Business Central, we only support this if the Code in Blue10 setting is set to Yes.
Invoice Management – Twinfield
- The relationship between the general ledger account and dimensions is now being synchronised.
From now on, the relationship between the general ledger and dimensions will be synchronised to Blue10. This process takes into account the Further analysis setting in the general ledger account in Twinfield.
Contract Management – General
- User can activate contracts
With the new setting “User can activate contracts”, you can determine which users are allowed to convert a draft contract into an active contract. Only users with this setting can definitively activate a contract, allowing you to better control who has influence over active contracts.

New functionalities
Invoice Management – General
- Save recognised data and coding lines in the verify
During validation, a document will now be automatically saved as a draft. With the new “Save draft” button, you can also do this manually (additionally). This ensures that changes to header and coding lines are saved if you leave the validation screen in the meantime.
Contract Management – General
- Multiple currencies in Contract Management
In Contract Management, it is now possible to use currencies other than the Euro. For contracts in draft status, you can select the preferred currency. Only one currency can be used per contract. - Download Contract Management archive
Download Contract Management archive
In Contract Management, it is now possible to download the archive. In the Contract Management settings, you will find two buttons. With ‘Download contract files’, all PDF files from Contract Management are downloaded, including both the contracts and the attachments. With the ‘Export contract details as XLSX’ button, you can export all contract details to an Excel file.
Improved
Invoice Management – General
- Searching and filtering in the verify
The filter options in the validation screen have been expanded. In the validation screen, you can search for a document on the left-hand side. Previously, you could only filter by Company and Document type. A search field has now been added that allows you to search by: Supplier, invoice number, order number or invoice date. It is also possible to select a date range. Please note: This allows you to search for the recognised data in a document. If data is not recognised or is recognised incorrectly, you will not be able to find the document using the search filters. - Selecting date ranges in filters
The date fields in the filters of the Document Overview now use date pickers. Invoice date and import date can now be easily selected with a ‘from-to’ range instead of individual dates.
Invoice Management – Business Central
- Text fields expanded to 100 characters
When creating a supplier in Blue10, Business Central users can now enter a name of up to 100 characters. The description in the coding rules of an invoice has also been expanded to 100 characters.
Invoice Management – Enterprise
- Database access
Enterprise users who don’t use the old database access won’t see the Reporting Access page anymore. From now on, reports can be created through the Blue10 Odata API. Read more about creating your own reports here. For users who already used the old access, it’ll stay available for now.
Contract Management – General
- Multiple contract managers per contract
It is now possible to assign multiple contract managers to a single contract. This means that multiple users will receive notifications for this contract. Added contract managers can also be removed. The user right “Access restriction” applies to all assigned contract managers.

Invoice Management – General
- Link credit and debit invoices
You can now link debit and credit invoices to each other in the validation screen. This allows you to see more quickly which invoices and amounts belong together. You can link invoices from two places: the validation screen and the document details page. Please note that it is only possible to make the link from a credit invoice. It is not possible to link from a debit invoice, but you can see which documents are linked. Read more here. - Compliance documents and certifications directly available in Blue10
Blue10 has various certifications and statements. These were previously only available via our website, but can now also be found directly in Blue10. You can navigate to Compliance via the Subscription Overview. There you will find an overview of all Blue10 certifications and statements, which you can download directly.
Improved
Invoice Management – Business Central
- Code on location
Business Central users can now code invoices on both the general ledger and warehouse. Previously, this combination was blocked. You can manage the coding fields via Settings > Companies > Code information.
Contract Management – General
- Filter on empty values
In Contract Management, it is now possible to filter on empty values. This allows you to search for contracts that have not yet been assigned a contract manager, for example. You can filter on empty values for supplier, contract manager, category, segments, and tags.
